Aliados cigars

Rolando Reyes is a prominent figure in the world of handcrafted cigars. Throughout his career, he managed several hand-rolling factories, from Havana to the Dominican Republic, as well as Miami and Honduras. Like many Cuban exiles, his cigar-making expertise dates back to the pre-revolution era. He refined his skills as a roller for renowned brands such as H. Upmann, Partagás, and Romeo y Julieta.

Founded in 1955 in Havana, his brand Cuba Aliados flourished until his factory was seized by the Cuban government in the early 1960s. At its peak, Rolando Reyes oversaw the production of nearly 6 million hand-rolled cigars annually.

Forced into exile in 1970, he left Cuba in search of a region with conditions similar to those of his homeland. His journey took him across multiple countries, always accompanied by his brand, before settling permanently in Honduras in 1990.

Today, his legacy lives on through two cigar lines, combining Cuban tradition with Honduran craftsmanship, reflecting the history and expertise of a master in the cigar industry.
